Generally Assembly User Experience Design, final project

I was asked to take an organic approach to design by exploring problems and pain points within an industry and create solutions to the problems I observed.

Being an urban dweller I focused on the lives of tenants in New York City. Through user research and interviews I discovered frustrations other urban dwellers experienced. People who live in a city often feel disconnected from their community and neighbors.

A solution was conceptualized, Dwell, a social messaging app that is building specific. Tenants in an apartment building could use Dwell as a tool to communicate with each other safely and quickly.

The deliverables for the project included, documented research findings, user personas & problem statements, Information architecture, content Briefings, user flows, site maps, wireframes, and a final presentation to would be stakeholders/investors.
